SALES TAX / FEDERAL EXCISE DUTY.
Sales Tax is an indirect levy on consumption which is charged, levied & paid normally at the rate of 17% of the value of taxable supplies and imports. Through provincial legislations. Sales Tax is also charged on various services.
Whereas, FED is also levied on various goods produced or manufactured in Pakistan, import and certain services.
